Emily Haggett BVSc DACVIM MRCVS

RCVS Specialist in Equine Medicine (Internal Medicine)

Emily graduated from the University of Bristol Veterinary School in 2003. On graduation she completed a year as house vet in general practice at House and Jackson in Essex and then an 18 month internship at Liphook Equine Hospital in Hampshire.

Emily then completed a 3 year residency in large animal internal medicine at the University of California, Davis, and became a Diplomate of the American College of Internal Medicine
(DACVIM).

In 2009 she returned to the UK and has been working at Rossdales. Emily’s main interests are in neonatal intensive care and she is responsible for the day to day running of the foal unit. She also carrys out primary and referral adult medicine work and does some ambulatory practice.

In 2012 Emily became an RCVS Specialist in Equine Medicine (Internal Medicine).
