Jamie is Assistant Professor of Equine Internal Medicine at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Washington State University, USA. She obtained her PhD from the College of Natural Science, Cellular and Molecular Biology Michigan State University in 2011. In 2013 she graduated from the Michigan State University, College of Veterinary Medicine with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.
After veterinary graduation Jamie undertook a rotating large animal internship at the University of Pennsylvania’s New Bolton Center and a residency in large animal internal medicine and emergency and critical care at Michigan State University.
Jamie’s clinical and research interests include improving survival of horses with gastrointestinal disease and emergency and critical care of large animal species.
